Professor Jane Yu is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at City University of Hong Kong. She is a specialist in small animal internal medicine, with clinical and academic experience in Australia and Hong Kong. Her qualifications include BVSc, MVS, PhD, MANZCVS (Small Animal Medicine), and DipECVIM-CA (Internal Medicine).
Jane graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011. She completed a small animal internship in 2015 and subsequently worked in several referral practices in Melbourne. She later co-founded an emergency centre in Central Victoria. In 2017, she joined the University of Adelaide as a lecturer and clinician in small animal medicine. In 2019, she joined the University of Sydney as a resident in small animal medicine and completed her residency in 2022.
Her professional interests cover all aspects of small animal internal medicine, with particular interests in gastroenterology and infectious diseases. She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications in areas including chronic enteropathy, feline infectious peritonitis, and other complex medical disorders in companion animals.
