Dr. Lawren Durocher-Babek, DVM, MS, DACVIM, CHPV, is a highly experienced small animal internal medicine specialist with a career spanning North America and Hong Kong. She is the owner and founder of Veterinary Specialty and Imaging in Hong Kong, where she provides bespoke internal medicine and palliative care services. Her clinical expertise includes abdominal ultrasound, endoscopy, diabetes management, gastrointestinal disease, urinary tract disorders, immune-mediated disease, and hospice and palliative care.
Dr. Durocher-Babek earned her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with Highest Honors and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia. She subsequently completed a small animal rotating internship at the Ontario Veterinary College and a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University, where she also obtained a Master of Science in Veterinary Clinical Sciences. She later completed certification in Hospice and Palliative Care, earning the CHPV credential.
